Stephen King's Dark Tower series is set to leap from the written page into a unique combination of movies and television programs. Ron Howard and Akiva Goldsman are the masterminds of this plan. Howard should need no introduction as the director of such films as Splash, Backdraft, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and more.
