Lista hasn’t slept a night through since they fled Wilderwood. In the old temple songs she has found a rite that could hold the Witch-King at bay long enough to reach the Holdfast, the hoard beneath the Hollow. But the rite is missing its final five lines.
Only one soul still knows them: Morwenna, the witch who doomed the forest three centuries ago. She has waited a long time for someone to ask.
