As she approached adulthood, Lista faced a pivotal decision. While her parents hoped she would continue the family tradition and become a skilled fisherman, her heart yearned for something greater. Lista yearned to answer the call of adventure and serve her homeland as a soldier. Once decided, she enlisted in the Panthoran military, much to her parents' pride—and concern.
Of the three eslar Omega Agazi soldiers, Private Marast, or Lista, as she introduced herself to Aaron when they first met, was the most informal and laid back. Rather than a scowl, she seemed to have a perpetual smile on her blue-black face. Her eyes, while hard to read given their irisless, milky white coloring, had a glint of amusement. Aaron didn’t doubt her ability with her falcata, a short-bladed weapon thicker and heavier at the tip that gave it the force of an axe when swung, but her friendly demeanor made her the most approachable of the Omegas, something Aaron was thankful for compared to the gruffness of the corporal and aloof nature of their lieutenant.
