Tippin Roe was born into a family of modest farmers on the outskirts of Fallmere. Life was harsh, and from a young age, Tippin learned the value of hard work and discipline. His father, a former soldier who had served in the Lord of Fallmere’s army during the Goblin Wars, instilled in him a deep sense of duty and loyalty. When Tippin turned sixteen, his father arranged for him to join the army, hoping that the structured life of a soldier would provide a better future than the backbreaking toil of farming.
Tippin quickly distinguished himself as a capable and disciplined recruit. He wasn’t the most talented with a sword, nor the strongest in the barracks, but what set him apart was his unwavering commitment to duty. He followed orders to the letter, respected the chain of command, and never shied away from the hardest tasks. His superiors noticed his reliability amongst other characteristics conducive to soldiery, awarding him the title of sergeant.
Tippin soon developed a reputation for being tough but fair. He demanded the same level of dedication from his men that he expected from himself, and while he’s never been one for unnecessary camaraderie, his troops respect him for his clear-headed leadership and unflinching resolve. In battle, Tippin is known for keeping a cool head, always thinking two steps ahead to ensure that his unit achieves its objectives with minimal losses.
Despite his stoic exterior, Tippin carries the weight of his choices heavily. He believes that sacrifices are necessary for the greater good, but that doesn’t mean he is unaffected by the lives lost under his command. He often finds solace in quiet moments, reflecting on the cost of duty and the burden of leadership.
Tippin’s loyalty to Lord Vuller is absolute. He sees Lord Vuller as a just ruler, one who understands the importance of order and strength in maintaining the realm. Tippin would lay down his life for his lord without hesitation, for in his eyes, duty is the highest calling a man can have. However, his unwavering commitment to duty leaves little room for anything else in his life—friendships, family, and personal desires are secondary to the mission at hand.
