I'm happy to announce the release of Engines of Alchemancy (The Alchemancer: Book One) in audiobook format!
Audiobooks are something I've wanted to offer for some time. In fact, it's one of the most requested formats readers ask me about, which isn't much of a surprise when you consider that audiobooks are currently the most popular format by which people consume books.
I've resisted the audiobook calling up to this point simply because of costs and other priorities. But then Google came along with their AI narration feature. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first, but the surprisingly good narration quality won me over.

The question for me is if there is an audience for digitally narrated audiobooks. I don't know the answer, but I'm attempting to find one with the release of this first book. If there is demand for it, I'll happily release the next book in the series and will add this format to the options when I release book three. If, on the other hand, there is no market for it, I'll pull this one down and may take another look at human narration, depending on where my budget is at that time.
It's interesting, though, that so many of the major retailers have gotten on board with the concept. Google Play, Spotify, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, and even Amazon.
