I stepped away from writing a few years back due to work (day job, that is), life, moving, more work, more life, and the next thing you know here we are and I haven't engaged with readers in a long time. So long, in fact, that I’m not even sure where to start with this update. Looking back, I remember releasing The Nullification Engine and The Assassin’s Blade, then jumping into the outlines for the next stories in each of my series, then…nothing. In short, I took a break that ended up being a longer hiatus than planned.
Fortunately, I’m back, and with good reason to believe I won’t have to step away again. While the day job hasn’t gone away, the demands of it have lessened to the closest it will get to normal. Also, our move is done. Selling a house, buying a new one, actually moving, and then getting settled is a lot of work! Life…well, none of us can do anything about the curveballs that get thrown our way. But, at least for now, life is good.
All that is to say that I’m starting to focus on writing again. I hope that for everyone who has asked me when the next Alchemancer or Assassin Without a Name story is coming out that this is good news!
That's all for now. In the coming days, I should have some more info about what next steps I'm taking now that I'm focusing on my writing again.
Thanks for stopping by and, as always, thanks for the support!
